Getting started
What do I need to start?
Use a compatible iPhone, allow the permissions needed for your mode, and make sure you have enough battery and local storage. Nearby multi-camera sessions work best when every device stays awake and within reliable local range.
Can I use VidFuse without an account?
Yes for ordinary local creation, including Solo Dual-Cam, Nearby sessions, local Remix, review, export, and Vault. Account-backed Squad and Anywhere features require sign-in.
Accounts and sign-in
How can I sign in?
VidFuse supports Sign in with Apple and Google sign-in. Use the same provider when you need to confirm account deletion.
My subscription is missing. What should I do?
Open the purchase screen and use Restore Purchases. Apple manages billing, cancellation, and refund requests.
Solo Dual-Cam
Which cameras can I use?
Solo Dual-Cam records the front and back cameras together. You can choose which appears on top in Stacked or which one appears in Picture-in-Picture.
Squad VidFuses
How many cameras can join?
Free and Enthusiast support up to two captured cameras. Pro supports up to four. If a paid host chooses Director Only, the host can control the shoot without using the host camera.
How do invitations work?
For Anywhere, the host shares an account-backed camera invitation link. The recipient opens the link, signs in, explicitly accepts, and joins the live session.
Nearby connections
Why can’t the other phone connect?
Keep VidFuse open on both phones, review Camera, Microphone, Photos, and Local Network permissions, keep devices awake and close, and retry on a reliable local or peer-to-peer connection.
Does Nearby always find phones in the background?
No. Nearby discovery belongs to an active VidFuse flow and depends on the app, permissions, device state, and live connection.
Anywhere invitations
What is different about Anywhere?
Anywhere lets a paid host connect invited cameras over internet or cellular instead of relying on local proximity. It uses account authentication, Camera Minutes, and temporary cloud transfer.
Can a Free user join an Anywhere session?
A signed-in Free participant can join an invited Anywhere session. Hosting Anywhere requires an eligible paid plan.
Can Anywhere use cellular data?
Yes. Carrier data, roaming, overage, and internet charges may apply to hosts and participants.
VidFuse Remix
Can I use video and audio?
Yes. Choose a reference video or audio source, select the range, confirm you have permission, and record in sync with it.
What happens when I invite someone to a Remix?
VidFuse prepares a protected session copy of the reference and transfers only what the invited participant needs. You remain responsible for rights and permission.
AI Director’s Cut
Does AI Director’s Cut finish the edit for me?
It creates an AI-assisted camera-cut suggestion. Review every scene, override cameras when you want, preview the changes, and export only when the sequence feels right.
Editing and Text & Vibes
What can I customize?
Add a headline, select a visual vibe, choose placement, and use the controls included with your plan. Enthusiast adds headline size and color; Pro adds fonts, angled placement, and video border colors.
Drafts & Vault
Where are my projects stored?
Vault projects are stored on this device. Drafts appear once source clips are ready. Deleted VidFuses stay in Recently Deleted for up to 30 days unless you permanently remove them sooner.
Exporting and sharing
Where can I send a finished VidFuse?
Save it to Photos or open the native iOS share sheet for Messages, AirDrop, and compatible installed social apps. Messaging or carrier rates may apply.
Why is there a watermark?
The VidFuse watermark is enabled by default. Free exports retain it. Eligible paid users can choose to remove it in settings or review.
Subscriptions
Are monthly and yearly plans available?
Enthusiast and Pro have monthly and yearly App Store subscriptions. The in-app purchase screen shows current local pricing, trial eligibility, renewal terms, and savings before purchase.
Does deleting my account cancel my plan?
No. Cancel the subscription separately in your Apple account settings.
Camera Minutes and Cloud Boosts
How are Camera Minutes counted?
They represent remote camera time used by Anywhere sessions. Enthusiast includes 300 minutes per month and Pro includes 1,800.
Who can buy a Cloud Boost Pack?
An authenticated Enthusiast or Pro subscriber can buy a 10, 50, or 150 GB pack after the trial ends. Each pack is a one-time purchase that lasts 30 days.
Privacy and account deletion
Are Nearby recordings uploaded?
Ordinary Nearby capture and media transfer use local connections. Account, invitation, and Anywhere features use VidFuse cloud services as described in the Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account?
Open VidFuse, go to Settings and your signed-in account, choose Delete VidFuse Account, and sign in again to confirm.
