This English copy is a working legal draft for product-owner and counsel review. It is not approved for publication, translation, or App Store submission.
This Privacy Policy explains how Irondale Village, Inc., a Florida corporation doing business as VidFuse (“VidFuse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you use the VidFuse mobile app, websites, links, recording sessions, cloud features, subscriptions, and related services (the “Service”). Our notice address is 4878 S Lake Dr, Boynton Beach, FL 33436, United States.
Some VidFuse features are local or device-to-device and do not send their content to VidFuse. This Policy describes information collected by VidFuse or its service providers; it does not mean that every listed category is collected during every use.
1. Information You Provide
We collect account and profile information you provide or authorize, such as display name, username, email address, Apple or Google sign-in identifier, profile preferences, subscription status, support communications, squad or invitation relationships, and account blocks. If an age range is requested to meet an age-related requirement, we use it for eligibility and safety rather than advertising or profiling; VidFuse does not require a birth date merely to build a behavioral profile.
We process videos, audio, photos, captions, project settings, invitations, abuse-report descriptions, and other content you choose to record, import, edit, transfer, save, export, share, or submit. Do not provide information or content you are not authorized to provide.
2. Information Collected for Operation and Security
We collect information needed to operate, secure, and support requested workflows, including VidFuse user and device identifiers; operating-system and app versions; language and device capabilities; camera role; network and connection state; IP address as handled by network infrastructure; timestamps; session and invitation identifiers; transfer, entitlement, quota, and storage state; and redacted error or reliability records.
These operational records describe requested feature activity and failures. VidFuse does not launch with a separate feature-level behavioral analytics system. Nearby discovery can reveal that compatible devices are in proximity, but VidFuse does not request precise GPS location for ordinary nearby recording and does not upload your address book to create squads.
3. Cameras, Microphones, Photos, Local Network, and Nearby Devices
With your permission, VidFuse accesses cameras and microphones to record; Photos to import or save media; and local-network or nearby-device capabilities to discover, connect, synchronize, and transfer recordings. You can change permissions in iOS Settings, but disabling them may prevent related features from working. Audio, video, faces, voices, movements, performances, and surroundings may appear in recordings.
VidFuse may analyze visual or audio characteristics such as faces, focus, motion, timing, framing, or voice activity to synchronize, frame, or edit content you request. This is feature processing, not identification through a biometric identity database.
4. Local, Peer-to-Peer, and Cloud Processing
Capture, editing, preview, draft, and export operations may occur on your device. Nearby sessions primarily discover, connect, and transfer directly between participating devices. VidFuse does not collect media that remains solely on a device or passes directly between devices without reaching VidFuse-controlled infrastructure.
Anywhere sessions, accounts, invitations, entitlements, cloud transfer, synchronization, and some recovery operations use AWS-hosted infrastructure and may send media and associated metadata through VidFuse systems. A host or recipient may receive and retain a copy of contributed media. Deleting your local copy does not delete copies already transferred, exported, saved, or shared by another person.
5. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- create and authenticate accounts and authorize devices;
- discover and connect cameras;
- create, synchronize, transfer, analyze, edit, export, save, and share recordings as requested;
- manage squads, invitations, subscriptions, entitlements, Cloud Camera Minutes, storage, and Cloud Boost Packs;
- provide support and respond to privacy, legal, safety, rights, and platform-abuse requests;
- prevent fraud, unauthorized access, abuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity;
- diagnose failures and improve the reliability, security, capacity, and accessibility of the Service;
- enforce our Terms and protect users, VidFuse, and others; and
- comply with legal, accounting, tax, dispute, and regulatory obligations.
Depending on the jurisdiction and activity, these uses are necessary to provide the Service you request, comply with law, protect legitimate security and operational interests, or are based on consent that you may withdraw where applicable. Withdrawing permission may prevent the related feature from operating.
6. Limits on Content and Operational-Data Use
We use user content only to operate, secure, troubleshoot, support, and perform features you request; comply with law; and maintain limited recovery safeguards. We do not use user content for advertising, unrelated commercial use, generalized product research, or training general-purpose or third-party AI models without separate, explicit, optional consent.
We may use information that has been aggregated or de-identified so it cannot reasonably identify a person for security, reliability, capacity planning, and product improvement. We do not use that information for advertising, cross-service tracking, behavioral profiling, sale, or attempted re-identification. Removing direct profile fields alone does not make an identifiable or pseudonymous event stream de-identified.
7. How Information Is Disclosed
We disclose information only as reasonably necessary:
- to session hosts, invited participants, squad contacts, and recipients you select;
- to AWS, which hosts core infrastructure and processes data for VidFuse under its standard data-processing and transfer terms;
- to Apple for App Store distribution, purchases, Sign in with Apple, push notifications, and Apple-provided platform diagnostics;
- to Google when you choose Google Sign-In;
- to Microsoft-hosted and Google Workspace business mailboxes used by authorized support personnel;
- to social platforms, messaging apps, carriers, or other services you direct VidFuse to open or use;
- to professional advisers bound by appropriate duties;
- in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale, subject to applicable notice and legal obligations; or
- when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, valid safety requests, or to protect rights and prevent harm.
Apple, Google, social platforms, messaging apps, and carriers may act independently for their own services. Their privacy terms apply to their processing. VidFuse does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or track users across other companies’ apps or websites.
8. Private Collaboration, Blocking, and Abuse Reports
VidFuse provides private, user-directed sessions and invitations rather than a public feed or public user search. Account and invitation metadata may still be used to block unwanted connections, enforce access controls, investigate platform abuse, and protect users.
The in-app reporting control normally sends the reporting and reported account identifiers, selected category, optional description, and minimal relevant invitation, session, app-version, or operational identifiers. VidFuse uses those fields to investigate misuse of its accounts and connection services, respond to the reporter, and disable an account when appropriate. Automated systems may validate, group, prioritize, route, and count reports, but do not disable an account based only on reports. Submitting a report does not automatically upload or preserve recordings. If recordings or other evidence are needed, support will use a separate process that tells you the purpose, recipients, access, and retention before you explicitly provide it. The public support form remains available when the in-app control cannot be used. VidFuse does not proactively scan private recordings unless required by law or necessary for a separately disclosed feature or safety process.
9. Invitations, Messages, Sharing, and Purchases
When you send a squad or session invitation, we process the invite token, sender and recipient context, authorization, expiration, and resolution status. VidFuse may open Messages, WhatsApp, AirDrop, or another service at your direction. Those providers and your carrier process the communication under their own terms.
Apple processes App Store purchases and payment credentials. We receive product, transaction, entitlement, renewal, expiration, refund, revocation, quota, and subscription-status information rather than your full payment-card number. Deleting a VidFuse account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
10. Retention
We use the following launch retention schedule, subject to earlier deletion when required and narrow legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute, and recovery exceptions:
- cloud media is retained for up to 7 days for an Enthusiast plan or 14 days for a Pro plan, and is deleted sooner when account deletion requires it;
- local captures remain until you or the operating system deletes them, and local Recently Deleted media remains for up to 30 days;
- authentication refresh sessions remain for no more than 30 days and are revoked immediately on sign-out or account deletion;
- Nearby invitations remain for approximately 5 minutes and Squad invitations for up to 7 days;
- temporary proposals and synchronization state remain for up to 30 days;
- operational logs remain for up to 30 days;
- protected DynamoDB point-in-time recovery history remains for up to 35 days;
- App Store notification deduplication records and minimal account-deletion tombstones remain for up to 180 days;
- active account-block records remain until the blocking user unblocks the account or the applicable account is deleted, subject to a limited safety or legal exception;
- ordinary support correspondence remains for up to 2 years after the matter closes;
- closed platform-abuse reports and optional descriptions remain for up to 90 days, while a minimal account-disablement record remains only as long as needed to enforce that action; and
- privacy, legal, copyright, law-enforcement, purchase, tax, and accounting records may remain for up to 7 years, or longer only when law or a documented legal hold requires it.
Inbound support email is stored transiently in a private AWS bucket and deleted after successful forwarding; failed or unprocessed copies expire after up to 7 days. Delivered mailbox copies follow the correspondence periods above. We retain de-identified or aggregated information only while it remains necessary for the approved purposes and cannot reasonably identify a person.
11. Account Deletion
When account deletion begins, we revoke account access immediately, target operational completion within 24 hours, and complete deletion within 30 days unless a documented exception applies. We delete VidFuse-controlled account data and cloud media and retain only records permitted by the schedule above. Completed deletion instructions are reapplied after a controlled recovery restore.
Account deletion cannot remove content already transferred, exported, saved, or shared with another user or third party. It does not necessarily delete local media from every device and does not cancel an Apple subscription.
12. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You may update profile information; manage iOS permissions; refuse invitations; block accounts; control exports and sharing; delete local projects; and request account deletion through available controls. Use the VidFuse support form and select Privacy to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, consent withdrawal, or an appeal where applicable.
We may verify identity before acting and may deny or limit a request where law permits or requires. We will explain an applicable denial and will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. You may also complain to your local privacy or data-protection authority.
13. Children and Teens
VidFuse is a general-audience creative service that may be used by children only with the parent or guardian authorization and supervision required by VidFuse and applicable law. A child under 13 may not activate a new VidFuse account until Apple supplies the guardian-managed or confirmed age evidence required by our onboarding flow. If the person instead states that they are under 13, VidFuse stores a local guardian-approval-required marker and keeps any new provider identity provisional and unable to use service features.
VidFuse receives only a coarse age category, declaration class, communication-limit indicator, policy version, and authorization status needed to apply these rules. We do not request an exact birth date or identity document. Apple processes its own Family Sharing, age, and guardian-approval information under Apple’s privacy practices. A successful authorization permits VidFuse to activate the child’s unique account for identity, invitations, device connections, entitlements, safety controls, and requested recording workflows. It does not authorize unrelated advertising, profiling, sale of information, or training general-purpose AI models.
A parent or guardian may withdraw supported consent through Apple or request deletion through VidFuse. Withdrawal blocks service access but does not itself erase the account; deletion follows the account-deletion process so security, subscription, shared-copy, and legal exceptions can be handled correctly. If required authorization is missing, denied, or withdrawn, or if we learn that information was collected from a child contrary to applicable law, we restrict access and take reasonable deletion or remediation steps. Guardians should supervise recording, invitations, transfers, exports, and sharing because another participant may receive and retain a copy outside VidFuse’s control.
14. Security and International Processing
We maintain administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information and rely on physical and infrastructure safeguards maintained by our hosting and platform providers. These measures include access controls, encryption provided by the platform and infrastructure, limited retention, recovery controls, and operational monitoring. No device, transfer, storage system, or internet service is perfectly secure. Keep devices and credentials secure and verify recipients before sharing. Do not use VidFuse for information requiring guaranteed confidentiality, emergency communications, or regulated storage unless we expressly agree in writing.
VidFuse operates from the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where providers operate. Where required, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms, including applicable standard contractual clauses and provider safeguards. Mandatory privacy and consumer rights where you live remain available.
15. No Advertising Tracking or Separate Product Analytics
VidFuse does not use advertising SDKs, sell personal information, share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, or track activity across other companies’ apps and websites. Version 1.0 does not use a separate third-party crash-reporting service or feature-level product-analytics system. Apple may provide diagnostics or App Analytics under Apple’s relationship with its users and developers.
Adding advertising, attribution, external crash reporting, feature-level analytics, a new AI or cloud processor, contact upload, location collection, or a public social feature requires a new privacy review and updated disclosures before production use.
16. Changes, Language, and Contact
We may update this Policy as the Service, vendors, or law changes. We will post the revised revision identifier and effective date and provide additional notice or request consent when required. When applicable law requires acknowledgment or parent or guardian approval for a significant change, we may use Apple’s system-provided approval process and restrict access to the affected features or Service until the required action is completed. Material changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise.
The counsel-approved English version is the canonical drafting source and is intended to control where legally permitted. Translations are provided to help users understand this Policy. A translation does not limit mandatory local-language disclosures, interpretations, privacy rights, consumer protections, or other non-waivable rights.
